- Had an enjoyable private tour with my Walks With Folks guide Andrei. Although the Catherine Palace was very busy with long lines and freezing weather, Andrei could bypass all the queueing and get me inside with the minimum of waiting and fuss. Once we were inside, I was impressed with how much he knew about the life and history of the Romanovs. An afternoon well spent.
